Portfolio

At the Institute for Medical Device Technology, components and systems for medical technology are developed, built and characterised. This includes biocompatible or implantable actuators, corresponding subsystems and systems for assisting and supporting people, e.g. in the context of post-operative rehabilitation. We also focus on laboratory equipment and devices for optical imaging.

Our laboratories have state-of-the-art measurement technology, robotic systems and are flexible for the investigation of small and large questions.

The institute started operations in July 2017 and has been growing ever since. Current research projects can be found here.
